7pm – Beat The Drum – Ken Venters

Beat the Drum is hosted by Ken Venters and is broadcast on Wednesday evening between 7pm and 9pm. The show is a mix of news, current affairs, local issues involving local politics, national issues and politics.

The show format is interview based and ranges from political guests to well kent faces and interesting people and those making the news who are interviewed live in the studio.

Previous guests have included local politicians and we also aired an interview with the First Minister.

The show wants to hear about local issues happening throughout the Mearns and listeners are encouraged to contact the show to discuss what happening in their local areas.
