Elaine May Smith

A focus on input from Mackie Academy in Stonehaven and local primary schools.  Elaine May Smith, the presenter, is a former pupil of Mackie and also the sister of J.J. Smith - Stonehaven's "Singing Postie" of "Blind Date" and "Stars In Their Eyes" fame.  In addition to requests/dedications and community news, Elaine features interviews and promotes local talent, interspersed with music, poetry and stories.  Elaine has herself written a series of childrens' stories - "Hurricane Hilda" - which she is reading aloud especially for her listeners.
